Worked at the EPA for six months following graduation from The U of Cincinnati, and married Carol, my college sweetheart. She graduated GMU in the early 70's walking the hallowed halls of FHS for some classes.

I transitioned to the business world and was involved in the early startup, operations and franchising of NTW (National Tire Wholesale) headquartered in the D.C. area. Left my VP position after four years to found a franchise in Georgia. We had twenty NTW Atlanta locations after 17 years when we sold the business to Sears. We had three great boys and three dogs along the way, all contributng to my early hair loss.

A couple of years later I was a co-owner and CEO of the independent start-up of "Load and Go" hourly truck rental at the Home Depot. We operated in 500 stores when HD bought the company in 1998.

With the boys in college, Carol and I moved to Gasparilla Island (Boca Grande) Florida where I was involved in development of single family homes for seven years, and helped with the development of a charter school on the island while Carol founded a girls club. We rediscovered our mutual love of singing in a mixed barbershop group.

We planned to attend #45 in 2012, but Carol was involved in a serious hiking accident that summer and we spent 18 months in partial recovery and rehab. We returned to Florida, but it did not work out for her so we're back in Atlanta around some of the family.

We enjoyed family, travel, boating and I learned golf on the journey. Now we celebrate every day of Carol's life and 46 years of marriage. We are blessed to have wonderful family including five grandkids.

I regret not being able to attend the reunion due to a visit by the western branch of the family.
